I didn´t have time to post anything yesterday, which is why Sunday Link is filling in for Saturday Link today:-) Yesterday I spent the entire day in the woods by a bonfire, grilling hot dogs and drinking some wine (so classy) with a bunch of people, which eventually turned into an After-Bonfire when the sun had set… I´m a bit tired today, but I had such a great time yesterday and met loads of nice people. This week was my Easter Break, but I did manage to write almost 4 pages on my Bachelor Thesis before taking some time off studying. I wrote about how I called of my Gym membership, shared a delicious Lemon and Chocolate Cupcake recipe with you and about typical Norwegian Easter Traditions. Spring still seems so far away, and I`m already dreaming of summer, hence the picture! How will this end? …continue reading
It`s been Winter for almost 6 months now, so I`m in desperate need of Spring. I`ve been looking through old photos, and found this wonderful spring picture taken in Dublin a couple of years ago.
So… This week I started with writing about how you can save food by using what you`ve got, and then I shared a personal story with all of you, about my battle with Fibromyalgia, which I honestly, was a bit afraid of sharing. But after receiving such a great response, I`m no longer in doubt. I did the right thing. The support and encouragement I`ve gotten, it`s just so amazing. …continue reading
This week was filled with so much uni-work, but after a lot of re-writing, and spending Friday night infront of the computer with a glass of red wine, I finally finished my English Lit. essay about Jane Eyre and 21st century notions of womanhood, a couple of hours before deadline. Finally!
Today I´ve been preparing for St. Patrick`s day. I`ve made a bunch of french macaroons, coloured green of course, some with a milk chocolate filling, and some with a pistachio-buttercream filling and cruncy bites of pistachio and sea salt. Tomorrow we`re having some friends over for a traditional egg&bacon breakfast served with coffee, Irish style 😉 before we head downtown to our local Irish pub to celebrate! Can`t wait! It`ll be a day of festive cheers and good food!
This week I wrote about my great concert experience last weekend and how it was worth every dime, I told you about the The Great Norwegian Adventure, and finally I confronted my fears and baked a Sourdough Bread and shared both the recipe and the starter recipe with all of you!

This week I cut my phone plan in half, finished two assignments for Uni, wrote about rediscovering your neighbourhood, spend two days in the kitchen preparing for BF´s birthday and made some delicious cupcakes, celebrated BF`s birthday with good friends, and now I`m preparing for a concert tonight, it`s a Norwegian hip-hop duo with immigrant background called Karpe Diem.
But I really need some help! What do you wear to a hip hop concert??!! I felt so old yesterday when I said to BF, “I don`t know what to wear, I`m not exactly hippety hop”! I`m thinking high heels, straightened hair, sparkly ear hoops, a cool top, and tight jeans. Or is that just too stereotypical? What would you wear??
